75th Independence Day Celebration

'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav' was celebrated with great Patriotic fervor at St Mary's campus on August 15, 2022. Chief Guest Mr Sathyamurthi, the retired Petty officer (EL), Indian Navy unfurled the National Tricolour.Addressing the students he stressed that everyone can serve the nation by being good citizens.Correspondent V.Rev.Fr Charles Menezes in his Presidential message adviced students to live in justice, peace and harmony to build a strong India.The members of NCC, Scouts &Guides and Red Cross presented March past to the beats of School band.The Chief Guest received the Guard of Honor. PO Cadet Gautham D K ,NCC Navy wing,St Mary's was honored on this occasion for his participation in 'Ek Bharath Shresta Bharath' camp held at Mysore. The students' Choir presented Dhwaj Geeth and Patriotic songs.Various thematic group dances were presented as a part of cultural activities.Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros extended the welcome note.Mr Jerold Pinto , the Physical Education Director proposed the vote of thanks.Druthi from Grade 12 anchored the program. ANO of NCC Navy wing Mr Lancy Mendonca coordinated the flag hoisting ceremony and guided the March past. Students from grade 5 to 12 ,Teachers and parents were present on this occasion.
