Awareness Program on Cyber Safety

An awareness program on Cyber Safety was conducted by Ms Dhanyashree, Assistant professor of PPC ,Commerce Department. Madam Dhanyashree along with her 8 students conducted an excellent awareness program regarding Cyber Crime, Cyber safety , Profile hacking, picture morphing and sections applicable for morphing photographs, creating falls evidence, culpable homicide, abetment of suicide, voluntary causing hurt etc. Children were made aware of strange websites, creating private account rather than a public account, using water marks etc. Effects of playing online games and investing money on online games, were also highlighted. Intresting quiz regarding the topic was also conducted. High school students of St Mary's School participated in the actively. Ms Usha Hedge, the Coordinator of Secondary section anchored the program.
