The valedictory Ceremony of IIMUN-Udupi Conference

The valedictory ceremony of IIMUN-Udupi Conference was held at St Mary's Auditorium. The various issues of global concern such as Efficient Waste Management, Restrictions on women's access to health care, Uniform Civil Code in India, Introduction of multiple official languages in UNO, Climate change, IPL auctions etc were thoroughly discussed during the 2 Days conference.Along with deepening the knowledge of burning social issues , the conference also aimed to sharpen the skills of debating, public speaking and researching among the delegates.The socializing and harmonizing activities such as dance and yoga were also conducted for the delegates.The best delegates in each Committee were honoured with awards during the closing ceremony. St Mary's Kannarapady and Madhava Kripa, Manipal jointly bagged the overall championship.Principal Rev.Fr Johnson Sequeira in concluding remarks said that the IIMUN Conference provided a meaningful platform to instill among the students the new insights on globally debated issues.
