Educational workshop on 'Artificial Intelligence in Education '

A one day Educational workshop on 'Artificial Intelligence in Education ' was organized for the teachers of St Mary's on May 29, 2024. Mr Tarun Purohit, a renowned Software Development Engineer was the Resource person. He was assisted by Mr Rajesh Suvarna, the Sales Manager, Orange Education. Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Joyson D'Souza in his opening remarks emphasized the need of adopting Artificial Intelligence tools in schooling towards the betterment and effectiveness of teaching-learning process. The demonstrative workshop introduced various AI platforms which can be creatively utilized in Content creation, Class room management, Assessment strategies and Student support system. The Resource person Mr Tarun Purohit shared his novel insights on the smart use of AI technology in educational field for the wise management of time and resources.The workshop offered handson experience to teachers to trial and test the functioning of Educational AI tools. The workshop was coordinated by Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros. Ms Prathiksha Shetty anchored the program.
