Grandparents’ Day Celebration

St Mary’s Kindergarten students celebrated Grandparents’ Day on September 13 2022 at Mother Theresa Hall. The Grandparents of Kindergarten were the special invitees for this celebration. The Kindergarten students entertained the grandparents with various fulfilled activities.The eldest couple Mr. Lawrence Noronha & Mrs. Lilly Noronha from Kanjar were the Guests of honour for the day. One of the grandparents Mrs. Helen Sumitra expressed her thoughts on the intimate bondage of Grandparents and Grandchildren. Correspondent V. Rev. Fr Charles Menezes and Principal Rev. Fr Johnson sequeira expressed their good wishes to all the grandparents. The fun-filled games conducted by Mrs. Dapsy Vaz added more joy to the occasion. Ms Rajashree Nayak,the coordinator of Kindergarten section introduced the Guests to the audience. Mrs. Ashwini Fernandes anchored the programme. Ruhan Neal Corda of UKG-A extended the words of welcome . Takshvi S Puthran of U KG-B proposed the vote of thanks. Adithya Rajith of U KG-C and Angelyssa Noronha of UKG-D expressed their feelings about grandparents. Sannidhi Kamath, Mohammad Arzaan, Kezia Ivanna and Viyansh H Suvarna of LKG imitated their grandparents. The event was well organized by the vice principal Mrs. Rita Quadros. The grandparents were given special momentos as a token of appreciation for their participation.
