World Suicide Prevention Day

On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day the Department of Psychiatric (Mental health) Nursing, KMC Manipal conducted an awareness Program on the Prevention of Suicide under the title 'Creating hope through action' on September 10, 2022 at Mother Teresa Hall. Ms Flavia,the Asst Prof briefed the causes and the preventive measures of Suicidal tendency.She also detailed the myths and facts of Suicide.The awareness session was co assisted by Ms Kallavi, Ms Sanjupanth and Ms Savitha. The students of 4th year Nursing presented a Mime Show throwing light on the symptoms and prevention of Suicide. Ms Soniya gave introductory remarks and anchored the program.Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros expressed her special appreciation for the faculty of Psychiatric Nursing ,KMC Manipal.
