Celebration of teachers Day and Patron's Day at St Mary's CBSE School, Udupi

On the auspicious occasion of the nativity of Mother Mary a special prayer service was offered to Patron in the gracious presence of Correspondent Very Rev Dr Valerian Mendonca, Asst Parish Priest Rev Fr Ashwin Aranha and Principal Rev Fr Johnson Sequeira.

During the formal program dignitaries offered flowers to the portrait of Dr RadhaKrishnan. Correspondent congratulated all teachers for their dedicated service towards the welfare of the students. He stressed the vital role of teachers in schooling who culture the mind and hearts of students with their human touch. While extending the good wishes of Patron's Day, he said that the celebration of the nativity of Mother Mary strengthens the family feelings and upholds the sacredness of Mother Hood. A special cake was cut to commemorate the Birth Day of Mother Mary and sugar canes were distributed to Mark the significance of Nativity, the much adored feast of coastal Karnataka.

The teachers showing outstanding performance in various creative competitions were rewarded with attractive prizes. Teachers presented wishing songs highlighting the importance of the day. The special mementos donated by School Management were gifted to all teachers appreciating their invaluable service to the institution. Mrs Maxim D'Souza and Mr Gracian Bothelo, the members of School Management Committee were present on the occasion.

Principal offered formal welcome with introductory remarks.Mrs Anasuya and Mrs Linet Spoke on the importance of the day. The twin celebrations were meticulously coordinated by Vice Principal Mrs.Rita Quadros.

A thanks giving fellowship meal was served at the end to make the occasion more momentous. Rev Fr Ashwin Aranha graced over the fellowship meal. Mrs Manjula Blazo extended the words of gratitude. Mrs Bharathi was the Master of Ceremony.
