Womens Day Celebration

International Women's Day was celebrated on March 8, 2023.The men staff of St Mary's conducted the morning Assembly with the theme of 'Gender equality and Women's rights'.A special cake was cut and Men's choir presented a wishing song. Principal Rev.Fr Johnson Sequeira in his message complimented the valuable roles of 'Bread winners' and 'Home makers' played by women in family. He lauded the commendable contributions made by women staff towards the progress of the school. Correspondent V.Rev. Fr Charles Menezes in his message stressed the vital need of valuing womanhood for creating a healthy society. On behalf of women staff the academic Coordinator Ms Usha Hedge thanked the men staff for being the reliable supportive hands to women staff in handling the day to day challenges of professional life. She adviced boys to uphold the spirit of respect towards girls in every step of schooling.The Correspondent handed over gifts to women staff as a token of gratitude. Women staff distributed sweets to children.
