Blood Donation camp -'SAMARITAN'S LIFE LINE'

'SAMARITAN'S LIFE LINE'- a Blood Donation camp was organised at Eve Maria Hall, Mother of sorrows church, Udupi in association with Lions Club, Udupi on August 13,2023. It was one among the significant health initiatives organised by the school on the proud ocassion of its Ruby Jubilee year. Mr Basrur Rajeev Shetty, Chairman ,Indian Red Cross Society, Udupi District branch was the Chief Guest and Very.Rev.Fr Charles Menezes, the correspondent of St Mary's Group of Institutions was the President for the inaugural session. Mr Ananth Shetty , President,Lions club, Udupi ; Dr Deep, from Dept of Blood Bank, KMC, Manipal ; Mr Maxim D'Souza, and Col Dr Arthur Rodrigues respectively the Vice President and the Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council, Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi ; Principal Rev. Fr Johnson Sequeira; Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros; Mr V.G.Shetty , the formar District Governor,Lions Club , Udupi; Ms Veena J Shetty, the Zonal chief , Lions Club, Udupi were the other dignitaries on the stage.The Blood Donation camp was symbolically inaugurated by switching the working model of blood donar's mascot. Total 64 units of blood was collected during the camp. Ms Gladys, the President of Health Commission, Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi; the members of School Management Committee; parishners of Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi and the staff of St Mary's English Medium school, Kannarpady were present on the occasion.
