Birthday Celebration of our beloved Correspondent

The birthday of our beloved Correspondent, V. Rev. Fr. Denis D'Sa, was celebrated with great joy and gratitude on September 19, 2026, at SMES, Kannarpady. The formal programme commenced with a meaningful prayer song by the Music Club, invoking God's blessings upon our Correspondent. The celebration continued with a special cake-cutting ceremony, which made the occasion even more memorable. Representatives of the students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff and support staff conveyed their heartfelt wishes and affection by presenting beautiful bouquets, greeting cards and flower saplings.

In his address, the Correspondent advised the students to make life meaningful by practising the values of sharing and gratitude. Adding a melodious touch to the celebration, the teachers presented a special wishing song, making the occasion even more delightful. The formal programme was compered by Deborah and Adele of Grade 8.

The celebration then moved into a vibrant cultural programme. The children of Kindergarten and the students of Grade 7 presented graceful dances as an expression of their love and gratitude. The cultural programme was compered by Zoya and Vihan of Grade 2. The other dignitaries present on the dais were Principal Rev. Fr. Vijay Joyson D'Souza, Vice Principal Ms. Rita Quadros, Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Leo Praveen Noronha, Mr. Maxim D'Souza, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council, Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi, Head Boy Master Parth and Head Girl Miss Brahmi.
