Farewell

The farewell for the students of grade 10 and 12 was held in St Mary's English Medium School (CBSE), Kannarpady, Udupi on Saturday, 1st of February at 9.30 am in St Mary's Auditorium.
The programme started with escorting the studentsof 10th and 12th by the Correspondent, Principal and Vice Principal to the auditorium, who were the centre of attraction of the day. The programme started by invoking almighty's blessings by the choir. Mr. Vinaysuvarnawelcomed the gathering. Rev Fr Valerian Mendonca, the correspondent of St Mary's Educational Institutions, Fr Stevan Fernandes, Assistant Parish Priest, Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi were present on this auspicious occasion.
Rachel of std IX and Collin of std XII shared their experiences with their seniors in the school. Adithya of X and His ham of XII expressed their cherished memories in the school. Mrs. Florina wished the students on this occasion and delivered the words of advice to be successful as they are moving out to acomplexworld from a comfort zone. Correspondent Rev Fr Valerian Mendonca, distributed mementoes to the outgoing students as a token of memory and asked the students to achieve great success in life by wishing and blessing them. He also requested the students to follow discipline in their which will lead to great success.
Principal Fr Johnson Sequeira came up with his words of appreciation and gratitude. As the present batch is his first outgoing batch in St Mary's, it will be a very dear batch for him, he said. He thanked the student's parents for choosing St Mary's for their children and students for their academic performance, bringing many laurels to the school in different fields. He wished the students a very success and gave a call to get into government jobs, achieve maximum and attract others through good character. He advised the students to be role models and asked them to have a desire to come back to the school as chief guests on various occasions. He concluded by saying, "St Mary's will Love, Miss and Pray for you for your future and board exams."
After the formal celebration, entertainment programme was arranged which included cultural programme and games for the outgoing students conducted by 9th and 11th grade students. The programme was well coordinated by Ariona of 9th grade. Ms Poornima Amin proposed words of gratitude. The whole programme was well planned and executed by the Principal of the school Fr Johnson Sequeira and Vice Principal Mrs. Rita Quadros respectively.
