Founder's Day Celebration
The Founder's Day was celebrated on February 8, 2026 to commemorate the birthday of V. Rev. Fr J.P. Tauro, the founder of the school. The Dignitaries, Section coordinators and student representatives offered floral tributes to the portrait of the late V. Rev. Fr J.P. Tauro, the founder of the institution. Ms Dapsy Vaz briefed the audience about the life mission and message of the Founder and other great educational leaders who laid a strong foundation for the birth and evolution of the school. The Chief Guest, V. Rev. Fr Antony Sherra, the former Correspondent of the school was felicitated for his incredible contributions to the institution. Ms Sweeta Rego presented the certificate of felicitation. The Chief Guest, in his speech, fondly recollected the simplicity, hard work, and unwavering commitment of the Founder in building the school. He advised the students to study diligently, build strong character, and practice human values. The Correspondent, V. Rev. Fr Charles Menezes, in his Presidential address proudly recalled how the late V. Rev. Fr J.P. Tauro worked tirelessly for social causes and how this institution continues to reap the benefits of his noble efforts. Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Joyson D'Souza, Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros and Mr Maxim D'souza, the Vice President of Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi graced the ocassion. As part of the cultural program, the Kindergarten kids presented a dance and the students of the primary section performed an action song. Mananya of grade 8 anchored the program. Sam Nihal and Riwa Mendondca of grade 7 presented the welcome note. Dishen of grade 6 extended the words of gratitude.
