Annual Cultural Day of High school and Senior Secondary Section 2025

St Mary's English Medium School celebrated its Annual Cultural Day of High school and Senior Secondary Section on November 22, 2025. The event was graced by the presence of Sr Lathika A. S. - Principal of St Cecily's English Higher Primary School, Udupi, as the Guest of Honor, and Correspondent V. Rev. Fr Charles Menezes as the President of the function.

The dignitaries on the stage included Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Dsouza, Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros, Mr Maxim D'souza (Vice President, Parish Pastoral Council), Dr Cornel Aurthur Rodrigues- (Secretary of Parish Council),Head Boy Snehal S Hegde, and Head Girl Miss Navya R Shetty. Ms Rita Quadros welcomed the guest and the gathering. Principal Rev.Fr Vijay Joyson Dsouza presented the annual school report, reflecting the achievements and the progress of the school.

The outstanding student achievers of Grade 10 and 12 of the academic year 2024-25 were awarded for their excellent performance in various subjects and other fields. Sr Lathika AS was felicitated by the dignitaries. Ms Bharathi introduced the Guest of honour. In her inspirational message, Sr Lathika A S emphasised on the amount of dedication, hardwork and sacrifice of the teachers and parents which lay the foundation for the success of the students' future. One of our senior auxiliary staff- Mr Wilfred Mascarenhas was also felicitated by the dignitaries on his superannuation. The certificate of felicitation was read by Mr Vinay Suvarna. Correspondent in his presidential address appealed to parents to be supportive in fostering their wards to cope up with stress. Ms Helen Cornelio delivered the note of gratitude.

The formal program was followed by heart captivating cultural performance by students of Grade 8 to 12. The formal ceremony was compered by Master Hafid and Miss Anusha. while Master Bradley and Miss Shivani anchored the cultural program.The evening came to a close with National Anthem leaving the students, parents, and alumni with memories to cherish forever.
