Drug Awareness Programme was organized for Senior Secondary Section
On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, a Drug Awareness Programme was organized for the students of the Senior Secondary Section on June 30, 2026.The programme included a live telecast of Bengaluru City Police's special awareness session at 11:00 a.m., highlighting the importance of prevention, awareness, and building a drug-free society.
The gathering was addressed by Mr. Rukmayya, ASI of Malpe, and Ms. Akshaya, who spoke about the harmful effects of drug abuse, the legal consequences of drug-related offences and the role of students in creating a healthy and responsible society. They encouraged students to stay away from drugs, resist negative peer pressure and become ambassadors of a drug-free community.
The Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Joyson D'souza and Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros graced the occasion and motivated the students to lead a disciplined and healthy life. As part of the awareness initiative, the resource persons handed over a QR code containing drug awareness and helpline resources to the Principal for easy access by students and staff. The programme was compered by Ms. Jacqueline.The session was informative and inspired students to stay drug-free and become responsible members of the society. A Total of 56 students from Senior Secondary section attended the meeting.
