CBP training on 'Learning outcomes and Padagogies'.

A Capacity Building Program on 'Learning outcomes and Padagogies' was organized for the teachers of St Mary's on May 28, 2024.Mrs Radha Prabhu and Mr Bhujanga Shetty, the Master trainers from CBSE were the Resource persons. The program was symbolically inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Joyson D'Souza in his introductory remarks stated that the training session intends to impart the quality education in school by sharpening the knowledge, skill and competency level of teachers. V. Rev. Fr Charles Menezes in his Presidential address stressed that the teachers need to update themselves to reach the learners of varied capacities. The Resource Persons during the training session detailed the concepts of Mental health,Learning outcomes, Bloom's taxonomy, 21st Century skills, Active learning strategies, Assessment strategies etc.The training session included brainstorming, activities and group discussions. The teacher delegates were assessed through questionnaire at the end of the session. The program was coordinated by Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros. Ms Linet Castelino anchored the inaugural session and the valedictory program.
