Deepavali celebration 2021

Deepavali festival was celebrated at St Mary's to spread the message of brotherhood and harmony. Correspondent V. Rev. Fr Charles Menezes along with Principal, Vice Principal and Coordinators symbolically solemnized the festival of lights by lighting the auspicious lamp. Head Boy, Head Girl and Student Council members also joined hands to decorate the stage with lamps. Correspondent in his message advised staff and students to celebrate Deepavali meaningfully by being a beacon of hope and guidance in others’ lives. Teachers' coir sung few wishing songs seeking the goodwill and prosperity of mankind. Ms. Umashree demonstrated the traditional rituals of Deepavali celebration. Ms. Divya narrated the mythological background of the festival. The program was anchored by Mr. Bhasker. Ms. Rajashree presented the thanking note.
