Fire Safety Awareness Programme

St Mary's English Medium School, Kannarpady, organized a Fire Safety Awareness Programme for 153 students of Grade 9. The resource person, Mr. Sathyaraj, a professional Freelancer Fire & Safety Officer from Mangalore, led the interactive session. The programme aimed to educate students on fire safety measures, prevention techniques, and evacuation procedures. Mr. Sathyaraj shared real-life examples and demonstrated fire extinguishing methods, engaging students with practical tips and simulations. The students actively participated in the session, learning about fire hazards, emergency response plans and the importance of staying calm during a fire incident. The programme concluded with a demonstration of fire safety equipment. Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros and class teachers were present on the occasion. Students gained valuable knowledge on fire safety and emergency preparedness. Ms Prathiksha anchored the program.
