Grandparents Day Celebration

The students of Kindergarten section celebrated Grandparents Day on 26 August in Fr J.P Tauro Hall. The program began by invocation by UKG students, followed by welcome dance. Ms Bharathi Kunder anchored the program. Jiyon Rio Rodrigues and Ayesha Falaq of UKG A welcomed the gathering. The eldest couple Mr Dayanand Bangera and Ms Sarasu Bangera were the Guests of Honor. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Rajasree Nayak, the Coordinator of Kindergarten section introduced the guests to the audience.

Jhaswin shetty and Dishani Pai of UKG’ B’ spoke about importance of the day. A meaningful action song was performed by toddlers of LKG. The fun filled games were conducted by Ms Pooja Prasad. All Grandparents actively participated in the game. Chief guest Ms Sarasu Bangera addressed the students and grandparents appreciated the school for organizing this event. Correspondent Very.Rev.Fr Charles Menezes in his speech emphasized the dicisive role of grandparents in our lives. Mohammed Zaif and Inchara Udupa of UKG C proposed the vote of thanks. Principal Rev Fr. Johnson Sequiera and Vice Principal Rita Quadros were present on the occasion. The mementos were presented to all the grandparents as a token of love.
