Free health check-up camp for Teaching and Non-teaching staff

A free health check-up camp was organized for the teaching and non-teaching staff of St. Mary's English Medium School on August 21, 2026 at J. P. Tauro Memorial Hall. The camp was jointly organized by the school management in association with H.P.R. Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, Manipal, and Swasthya Health Care.

The health screening included blood pressure check, eye check-up, dental check-up and blood tests. Experienced healthcare professionals also provided valuable information and guidance on leading a healthy lifestyle. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Joyson D'Souza, who led the initiative, said, “The good health and well-being of our teaching and non-teaching staff is the primary concern of our institution.”

The camp was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Saradhi and Dr. Harsha from Swasthya Health Care along with other medical examiners. Around a hundred staff members availed themselves of the facilities and benefitted from the camp. The programme was coordinated by the Vice-Principal, Ms. Rita Quadras
