78th Independence day Celebration

78th Independence day was devotedly celebrated at St Mary's campus on August 15, 2024. Chief Guest of the program Mr Someshwara Rao, Veteran, Indian Airforce unfurled the National flag and recieved the guard of honour. The Cadets of NCC Navy wing, members of scouts and guides and Redcross took part in the ceremonial March past. Chief Guest in his speech appealed the students to refine their citizenship qualities and bring back the golden glory of India. Correspondent Very.Rev.Fr Charles Menezes in his Presidential address proudly remembered the sacrifices made by freedom fighters to earn us the precious gift of freedom.Chief Guest Mr Someshwara Rao Saradhi was felicitated for his valuable service to the nation. Students' choir presented few patriotic songs. Principal Rev.Fr Vijay Joyson D'Souza and Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros graced the occasion.

Ms Nayana anchored the program. Ms Anusha Shetty presented the welcome note. Mr Gerald Pinto proposed the vote of thanks.
