National Leader Depiction through Fancy Dress Competition
A National Leader Depiction through Fancy Dress Competition for children from Playschool to Grade 4 was held on August 8, 2026 in St. Mary's Auditorium, Mother Teresa Hall, and J.P. Tauro Memorial Hall. The competition was conducted in three categories: Trio, Duet, and Individual. The children dressed up as famous leaders of India such as Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhas Chandra Bose, Rani Lakshmibai, etc.
Each child confidently introduced themselves as the leader they were portraying, spoke a few lines and slogans about the leader’s contribution to the nation and presented themselves with pride. Parents also participated in the Trio and Duet enactments. The activity helped children learn about our freedom fighters and national heroes in a fun and interactive way. The event encouraged values of patriotism, respect, and admiration for the great personalities who shaped our country.
There were more than 150 participants in the Playschool to UKG category, and 200 participants in the Grades 1 to 4 category. Principal Rev. Fr. Vijay Joyson D'Souza and Vice Principal Ms. Rita Quadros graced the occasion.
