Patron’s Day Celebration
Patron’s Day Celebration was held with great reverence and joy onSeptember 9, 2025 in honour of Mother Mary, our heavenly Patron and the epitome of grace, compassion and divine love. The event marked the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and celebrated the values she embodies -faith, humility, and service. The day also aligned with Girl Child Day and the Harvest Festival, emphasizing our cultural and spiritual roots. The formal programme commenced with a solemn prayer service led by the school choir, invoking the blessings of Mother Mary.
The Kindergarten kids welcomed and escorted the Principal Rev. Fr. Vijay Joyson Dsouza; the Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Dr. John Sequeira; Assistant Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Leo Praveen D’Souza ;Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros, Vice president of PPC Mr. Maxim Dsouza ; the secretary of PPC Col.Dr Arthur Rodrigues; the Head boy Snehal Hegde and the head girl Navya R Shetty to the dais.A warm welcome address was delivered by Ms Laveena Menezes. To honour Mother Mary, a tribute ceremony was conducted where dignitaries and student representatives offered floral tributes to the Patron symbolising the love and devotion. A highlight of the event was the felicitation of the Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Dr. John Sequeira, recognised for his contributions to spiritual leadership. A brief note of appreciation was read by Ms. Helen Carnelio followed by the presentation of a memento. Fr. John Sequeira in his inspirational address highlighted the need of strengthening the inner qualities of the personality. Principal Rev. Fr. Vijay Joyson Dsouza spoke about the significance of celebrating Patron’s Day in fostering community spirit, discipline and compassion among the students. The sponsors who generously supported the school during Novena Week were acknowledged by the Principal. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms Shruthi Dsouza. The formal celebration was followed by a vibrant and spiritually enriching Cultural performances including prayer songs, dances and skits. Bradly Vaz of grade 11 served as the master of ceremony.
