PRAKRUTHI- 'The Divine art of God'
ST MARY’S ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL KANNARPADY, UDUPI , celebrated the annual day of Play school and Kindergarten Section on 16th December 2023 at ST MARY’S Auditorium under the theme PRAKRUTHI- 'The divine art of God.' Jaymith Shetty and Jisha Rodrigues of UKG anchored the program for formal program.
Annual day program began with the melodious prayer song by UKG kids. Principal Rev. Fr Johnson Sequeira, Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros escorted the dignitaries- Correspondent Very Rev Fr Charles Menezes, Cheif guest Dr Preetham Tauro (An assistant professor- department of pediatrics at Fr Muller Medical College, Mangalore) , Asst Parish priest Fr Roy Lobo, Vice President Maxim Dsouza, Secretary Col Dr Arthur Rodrigues, Secretary of Parish Pastoral Committee to the dais. Mohd Zayan and Swara Annigeri of UKG welcomed the gathering. Kindergarten coordinator Ms Rajashree Nayak introduced the chief guest to the audience. Principal briefed about the activities that were conducted during current academic year.
Chief guest Dr Preetham Tauro was felicitated by the dignitaries. He addressed the gathering and congratulated the teachers, staff and parents for their dedication, effort, creativity and hardwork. He also said that the early education is the first stroke on a black canwas and teachers are the artists with care, compassion, love and knowledge. Each child is unique and special so parents should not compare them.
Correspondent appreciated the parents for their presence and recollected the memories of grandparents day in his presidential address. The formal program was concluded with vote of thanks by Ayush and Sharanya from U KG.
The cultural program was headed by the anchors -Kritharth V Ganiga, Xaviera Patrice Mathias, Jeshuran Nemalikanti and Joanna Roshelle Soans from UKG. The kids of UKG welcomed the gathering with a classical welcome dance. The tiny tots of Play school A and B danced to the tunes, under the theme nature(garden) where students dressed themselves as flowers, animals, Insects,etc. Kids of L KG A danced to the tunes under the theme Space. A dance drama depicting the story Snow white and the seven dwarfs was beautifully executed by the students of U KG B. Grade U KG A Kids performed a dazzling dance on Retro Melody songs from old to new. 'Seasons' was the theme of grade L KG B, their performance depicted the different changes in the environment as the seasons changes.
A Skit - Ek Anek , was performed by the students of U KG which gave a wonderful message- UNITY IS STRENGTH. Grade U KG C gave a thrilling performance spreading the message Save water, save trees and save the environment. The last programme was a Christmas Tableau performed by both L KG and U KG kids which gave chills to all. The programme winded by singing the school anthem at 11:30 a.m
