Republic Day Celebraton 2026

The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on January 26, 2026. Dr. Beenish Sayed, a proud alumna and renowned maxillo-facial surgeon, hoisted the National flag and received the Guard of Honor. Dignitaries paid floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's portrait. The NCC Naval Unit, Red Cross, and Scouts & Guides showcased their discipline and patriotism in a splendid march past.

Chief Guest Dr. Beenish Sayed emphasized the need of self-discipline, hard work, and sincerity for responsible citizenship and to uphold India's greatness. Correspondent Rev. Fr Charles Menezes stressed assimilating constitutional values for democracy's success. The students' choir filled the air with patriotic songs, evoking national pride. Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Joyson D'Souza and Vice Principal Ms. Rita Quadros were present. Ms. Rubina anchored the event, Ms. Gerald Pinto presented the welcome note, and Ms. Sharmila proposed the vote of thanks.
