Inaugural ceremony of St Mary's Teachers' Club 'Symphony'

The inaugural ceremony of St Mary's Teachers' Club 'Symphony' was held on July 1, 2023 at Fr J P Tauro Memorial hall. Principal Rev.Fr Johnson Sequeira in his introductory remarks briefed the vision of the club.The former Secretary of the club Ms Shashikala presented the annual report of the club activities conducted in the academic year 2022/23 and officially handed over the Report book to the newly appointed Secretary Ms Lavina. 'Symphony'-2023/24 was uniquely inaugurated by Correspondent V.Rev.Fr Charles Menezes by unveiling the logos of the newly formed teacher's groups.In his Presidential address Correspondent stated that the activities of the club should help teachers to sharpen their professional skills and strengthen the core values of teaching.He also added that teachers should play the role of animators to inspirit children with liveliness and vibrancy.Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros and newly appointed Treasurer Mr Glen were present on the stage. Various fun filled educational games and Quizzes were conducted for teachers.Ms Theresa proposed the vote of thanks.
