The Decennial celebration and Teachers' Day celebration

The Decennial celebration and Teachers' Day celebration of Catholic Education Society, Udupi was held at St Mary's Auditorium on September 14, 2024. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, the honorable Bishop of Udupi Diocese was the President of the program. The stage was graced by V. Rev. Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves, Vice President of CESU & Vicar General of Udupi Diocese; Chief Guest Mr Cyprian Monteiro, Director, Primary Education, Commissioner office, Bangalore ;Guest of honor Rev. Fr Leo Praveen Lasrado, Secretary, CBE; Mr Maruthi, DDPU, Education, Dept of Pre University;Mr Ganapathi K, DDPI, Udupi District ; Rev. Fr Antony Shera, Former Secretary to CBE, Mangalore, V. Rev. Fr Charles Menezes, the Joint Secretary of St. Mary's Educational Institutions and Parish Priest of Mother of Sorrows church, Udupi; Rev.Fr Vincent Crasta, Secretary, CESU and Rev. Fr Vijay Joyson D'Souza, Principal, SMES, Kannarpady. The dignitaries on the stage offered flowers to the portrait of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. V.Rev. Fr Charles Menezes presented the welcome speech. A silent prayer was offered to the departed souls of teachers, Non teaching staff and students. CESU website and social media networks were launched by Rev. Fr Antony Shera. CESU's Decennial Souvenir was released by Msgr.V. Rev. Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves. The Guests of honor, the retired teaching and non teaching staff, award winning teachers, Phd holders, toppers in grade 10 and PUC, achievers in co-curricular activities, the former and present and governing body members were felicitated by the dignitaries. Mementos were awarded to the institutions securing 100% results. The students of Mount Rosery English School, Santhekatte performed a dance on in honor of teachers. The program ended with a fellowship meal. Ms Shruthi, Ms Cybil, Ms Amratha and Ms Geetha anchored the program.
