International Women's Day Celebration

The celebration of International Women's Day organized by the men staff of St Mary's was held on March 7, 2024 at Fr J.P.Tauro Auditorium.The women staff were offered a grand musical welcome to the program venue.The formal program commenced with a prayer song followed by a wishing song.A special cake was cut by Vice Principal and the women staff. The fun games conducted by Mr Walter D'Souza added more joy and excitement to the occasion. Principal Rev.Fr Johnson Sequeira in his speech appreciated the multiple roles performed by the women staff at school with dedication, empathy and patience.A candle glass jar was presented to all the women staff to symbolize the light of goodwill and positivity they spread in school family. Chief Guest of the program Rev.Fr Roshan, the Chancellor of Udupi Diocese in his message appealed women to fight the gender based inequalities to earn respect and equitable opportunities.He heartily acknowledged the unwavering commitment and selflessness compassion manifested by women staff at St Mary's.Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros appreciated men staff for organizing a meaningful program.The winners of various competitions were awarded with attractive prizes. Mr Vinay Suvarna anchored the program.
